Alisha and Michael, A forest-inspired wedding at Rein Fire Ranch

Married on August 19, 2023

Alisha and Michael originally reached out to me to help with the management of their wedding and wedding day itself. It wasn’t until less than three months before their wedding that they said they wanted help with solidifying their design details. She was having a hard time putting all of her ideas together. Needless to say, we got right to it!

After working through Pinterest boards and inspiration photos, Alisha said her goal was to have their wedding feel like they were walking in the forest on one of their hikes. She wanted it to feel like they were on a mountain looking around at the wildflowers and many colors that they produce. That’s all I needed to help put everything together for them.

Using rattan chargers and a mixture of browns and greens in the table linens, plates and napkins, we kept their overall table-scape pretty neutral so the flowers and centerpieces could pop. We brought in vintage goblets of all colors as well as varying colors in the candles to add to the mis-matched colors on top of the tables. The couple named their guest tables based off locations they had traveled to together and had a world map showing guests where in the world they were sitting.

The ceremony outside was lovely, and had Alisha and her parents come in on a horse-drawn carriage. The following cocktail hour was adjacent on the property with Percy the mule acting as the mobile mule bar. He was a huge hit!

For the reception, everyone went inside the main barn and enjoyed a Mexican taco buffet with mini pies as dessert. Alisha made an entrance with her outfit change during the reception, entering to Beyonce’s “Crazy in love”. The crowd went wild!

The day was absolutely gorgeous, the guests were amazing and we loved being able to create a wedding that truly reflected the couple and what they like to do.
