Kasey and Brian originally booked me for management and design services. A month after signing with me, they decided to change to my full planning package as they were having difficulty finding the time to source and interview vendors on their own. I gladly stepped in to help them plan their amazing day, with about 7 months left to go.

They wanted a simple, but modern aesthetic with small vintage details throughout. They wanted a killer party with a champagne tower, marquee lights and some live music.

Kasey and Brian live in Reno, so we planned most details from afar. Kasey came into town a couple of times throughout our planning, and we jammed everything into those visits: Venue site visits and meetings, rental showroom visits and stationery meetings.

To add some excitement to the mix, we found out nearly two months before their wedding day that their original photographer was hurt and couldn’t shoot their wedding anymore. Thankfully, Shantel was available and she absolutely nailed everything, especially having come in at the near to last minute.

I’m happy to say that this party did not disappoint. The crowd showed up, the sax player (Tim Staro) was on point from the time he played Kasey’s processional song to the last song of the night and everyone was so incredibly joyful and fun.

I had so much fun getting to know this couple during our time together.

Highlights of their wedding day include:

Brian telling me that he thought that Kasey looked like a goddess

Watching Kasey become emotional at the sight of Brian waiting for her at the end of the aisle

Being brought out into the middle of the dance floor by Kasey’s dad during his toast, to publicly thank me for all my hard work

Truly an event we won’t soon forget.
